In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have issued orders declaring the General Holidays under N.I.Act, 1881 for the year 2016.

2)                   In the letter 2nd read above, the Convener, United Forum of Bank Unions State Unit, Hyderabad has requested to declare 25.03.2016 (Friday) as holiday on the Occasion of Good Friday.

3)                   The Government, after careful consideration of the matter, have decided to declare the Holiday on the occasion of GOOD FRIDAY on 25.03.2016 (Friday) under the Explanation to Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881(Central Act XXVI of 1881). Accordingly, the following notification is issued and shall be published in the extra-ordinary Gazette of Telangana State:

In partial modification of the orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.3193, General Administration (Poll.A) Department, dated 05.12.2015, the Government hereby declare 25.03.2016 (Friday) as Holiday on the occasion of GOOD FRIDAY, under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
