State Bank of India (SBI) has officially released the SBI PO Notification 2025 for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (POs). A total of 541 vacancies have been announced across various categories. The application process begins on 24th June 2025 and will continue till 14th July 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online through the SBI Careers portal at bank.sbi.

Educational Qualification

SBI PO 2025 selection is done in three phases
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
- Objective Test for 100 marks
- Duration: 1 Hour
- Subjects: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability
Phase-II: Main Examination
- Objective Test: 200 Marks (Reasoning, Data Analysis, General Awareness, English)
- Descriptive Test: 50 Marks (Emails, Reports, Situation Analysis, Precis)
Phase-III: Psychometric Test + Group Exercise + Interview
- Total Marks: 50
- Final Merit List is prepared out of 100 marks (normalized).
Salary Packages
The starting basic pay is ₹48,480/- with 4 advance increments. The approximate CTC is ₹20.43 lakhs per annum at Mumbai. Additional benefits include HRA, DA, PF, NPS, LFC, medical facility, and career growth opportunities including foreign postings.
