U-DISE-2014-15 Data Collection Instructions to DEOs/DPOs:

·        DEOs/DPOs are aware that Educational Statistics Data Collection is being done every year in U-DISE Format with 30th September as the reference date which covers all Schools/Junior Colleges functioning in the State. U-DISE data is the basis for the formulation AWP&B Plans for SSA and RMSA. Hence the utmost care should be taken in Collection/Scrutiny/Data Entry/Validation of Data. Printing of Data Capture Formats(DCF) and Data Entry Work is entrusted to SSA. But RMSA staff have to coordinate with the SSA Staff in order to carry out this gigantic task of collection of UDISE. Though data is being collected every year since 2001-02, it is not stream lined so far. It is due to the lack of proper supervision and Monitoring by the field functionaries. Hence the DEOs/DPos are requested to pay attention and instruct the field Officers to obtain the accurate data within the prescribed time. Ensure that all New Schools opened in 2014-15 are collected in addition to the schools existing upto 2013-14 irrespective of Management. Seek the Co-ordination of other Departments like Social Welfare, Tribal Welfare and Intermediate Education as data of their schools/Colleges are also to be covered in UDISE. Request the Depts to identify a Nodal Officer for Collection of Data.  Entrust the Collection/Scrutiny of High Schools and Higher Secondary Schools to the concerned Dy.E.Os.  Involve RIO/DVEO of Intermediate Education for collection of Junior Colleges Information. Distribution of UDISE DCFs should be completed by the end of the September ‘2014. Mana TV Live Programme (Tele Conference) to all the filed functionaries and School HMs on 8-10-2014 regarding filling of of UDISE DCF. Partcipants should attend along with Blank DCF. Instruct HMs to provide correct and accurate data in U-DISE and HMs  will be held responsible for the incorrect data.  100% scrutiny is to be under taken by the first level field officer i.e.CRP.
