SBI State Bank of India sending messages to it's customers to submit KYC Documents on or before . And also warning that if KYC is not submitted, their Accounts will be abandoned. Generally an identity proof with photograph and an address proof are the two basic mandatory KYC documents that are required to establish one's identity at the time of opening of savings bank account, fixed deposit, mutual fund, insurance, etc.

List of documents commonly accepted as Standard Identity Proof:
  1. Passport
  2. PAN Card
  3. Aadhaar Card
  4. Voter’s Identity Card
  5. Driving License
  6. Photo identity proof of Central or State government
  7. Ration card with photograph
  8. Letter from a recognized public authority or public servant
  9. Bank Pass Book bearing photograph
  10. Employee identity card of a listed company or public sector company
  11. Identity card of University or board of education like ISC, CBSE, etc.


List of common identity documents which are accepted as Standard Address Proof:
  1. Passport
  2. Voter’s Identity Card
  3. Aadhaar Card
  4. Driving License
  5. Electricity Bill, Telephone bill including mobile, landline, wireless, etc type of connections, not more than 6 months old
  6. Bank Account Statement
  7. Consumer Gas connection card or Gas Bill
  8. Letter from any recognized public authority or public servant 
  9. Credit Card Statement
  10. House Purchase deed
  11. Lease agreement along with last 3 months rent receipt
  12. Employer’s certificate for residence proof




How to Submit KYC ( PAN & Aadhaar ) Online through Net Banking for SBI

This fecility only for the customers those who have Net Banking fecility only
  1. Go to SBI Personal Banking Login
  2. Enter User Name and Password get Login
  3. Click on e-Services at top Horigental Menu Bar
  4. Click on PAN Registration
  5. Enter Profile Password
  6. Enter PAN Number twice and Click on Submit
  7. You get an OTP, Enter it
  8. Later go to e-Services 
  9. Click on Update Aadhaar with Bank Account
  10. Enter Aadhaar twice and click on Submit


SBI Customers who got message from the Bank, have to submit Xerox copies of the documents said above at their Home branch or any nearest SBI Branch on or before. For more details about KYC watch this Video
