It is known that the state government has announced a strict lockdown in Telangana for 10 days. However, state DGP M Mahender Reddy said that special passes are being issued through e-pass to those traveling to other states and other districts during the lockdown period. For emergency e-passes, apply through https://policeportal.tspolice.gov.in/ He said passes would only be issued to those traveling at times other than when the lockdown was relaxed for emergencies. He said only those concerned police commissioners and SPs would issue passes to those going to other states and other districts in the state. However, those coming to Telangana from other states will be issued passes by the respective states, he said. For those traveling from one commissionerate to another in Hyderabad, passes will be issued by the commissionorate where the journey begins. Lockdown clarified that no passes are required for those traveling between 6am and 10am during the relaxation time. However, those who travel the rest of the time will have to apply through the website.
E-Pass Application Process
- First open the e-Pass website (https://policeportal.tspolice.gov.in/) and click on e-Pass.
- Select the district / commissionerate where you currently reside
- తర్à°µాà°¤ After that you have to upload your name, Aadhaar number, vehicle, number of people, why pass, for what, phone numbers, range of police station you are going to, distance, etc. along with photo, purpose document, KYC forms.
- After that you will get an acknowledgment number (Receipt Number).
- This pass will be granted by the Commissionerate, SPs in the areas where you intend to go.
- This pass can show and travel to districts within the state during restrictions.
