Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd. (TSNPDCL) incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 as a Public Limited Company on 30-03-2000 with head quarters at Warangal is carrying out electricity distribution business as part of the unbundling of erstwhile A.P.S.E.B and re-organisation of the state of Andhra Pradesh and formation of the state of Telangana is catering to the electricity requirements of 18 districts in Telangana State viz., Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jayashankar-Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Jangaon, Mahabubabad, Karimnagar, Rajanna-Sircilla, Peddapally, Jagtial, Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Adilabad, Mancherial, Nirmal and Kumuram-Bheem Asifabad invites applications from the eligible and qualified candidates for the posts of “Assistant Engineer (Electl.).

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must possess the qualifications from a recognized University as detailed below or equivalent thereto as on the date of Notification.
Assistant Engineer/Electrical: Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering of a Recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act (or) an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission / AICTE (or) any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto (or) a pass in Section-‘A’ & ‘B’ of A.M.I.E. examination conducted by Institute of Engineers in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Application and Examination Fee: Each applicant must pay Rs.200/- (RUPEES TWO HUNDRED ONLY) towards Online Application Processing Fee. This apart, the applicants have to pay Rs.120/-(RUPEES ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY ONLY) towards Examination Fee. However, the Applicants belonging to SC/ST/BC Communities, PH and applicants belonging to EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) are exempted from payment of examination fee.
Submission of Application: After payment of Fee, the Candidate has to visit the website http://tsnpdcl.cgg.gov.in to view the detailed notification and User Guide. The applicants has to click on the link SUBMIT APPLICATION and provide payment details (Journal number and date) and Date of Birth details and then invariably fill all the relevant fields in the Application along with uploading the scanned copy of passport size photograph with signature (see instructions for scanning and uploading photograph with signature). Immediately on submission of application, applicant will get an acknowledgement in the form of a downloadable pdf document.
Details of NPDCL Asst Engineer Written Examination:
Syllabus: The syllabus for the written examination for AE(Electrical) is placed at Annexure-II.
Hall Tickets: The Hall tickets will be made available on the website on the scheduled date prior to the date of examination. The candidate has to download the Hall ticket from the website only. Hall tickets will not be sent to the candidates by post. The Hall Ticket has to be preserved till the final selection.
Date of examination: The written examination for Assistant Engineer/Elecl. will be held on 14-08-2022.
Note: Any change in the scheduled date of written examination will be published in the website.
Examination Centres: The written examination for recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) will be held at different centres located in GHMC area.
PROCEDURE FOR SELECTION:
The selection of candidates for appointment will be made 100% on Written examination only.
In the event of tie in written exam marks, candidate whose age is higher will be ranked high. In the event of tie thereon, the marks obtained in Part-A will form basis for deciding the rank.
iii) Only those candidates who qualify in the written examination by being ranked high, community wise will be called for verification of Original Certificates in 1:1 ratio.
