Educational Qualification: SSC/Matriculation with ITI (NTC) + NAC OR with 1-year relevant experience.
Trades Accepted: Only the specified trades mentioned above are eligible.

1. What is the syllabus for the Computer Based Test (CBT)?
The CBT will primarily focus on objective-type questions based on the core ITI Trades (relevant to the post applied). Topics will include trade-related technical knowledge.
2. Will there be any negative marking in CBT?
Yes, each wrong answer will result in a deduction of 0.25 marks.
3. What are the qualifying marks for selection?
Candidates must secure at least 50% marks in each stage and an overall score of 60% to be eligible for final selection.
4. Is there any travel allowance for attending the Trade Test?
Yes, outstation candidates attending the Trade Test are eligible for sleeper class railway fare reimbursement (to and fro) upon producing valid proof.
5. Can candidates choose their CBT exam center?
Yes, applicants can choose from six cities (Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Kolkata) while filling out the online application. Final allotment is at ECIL’s discretion.
6. What documents are required for document verification?
- Originals and self-attested copies of the following:
- SSC Certificate (DOB proof)
- ITI/NAC Certificates
- Caste/PwD/Ex-Servicemen Certificate (if applicable)
