Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has released the TG Ed.CET 2025 notification for admission into 2-year B.Ed Regular Course for the academic year 2025-26. The entrance test will be conducted through Computer-Based Mode (CBT). Apply for TG Ed.CET 2025 online for admission into B.Ed 2-year course in Telangana. Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed Entrance Exam 2025
Nationality: Indian citizens only
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc/BCom/BBM/BCA/BBA etc.) with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/BC/PwD).
BE/B.Tech candidates with Mathematics also eligible.
Note: Professional degree holders like MBBS, B.Pharm, B.Arch, LLB etc. are not eligible.
Age Limit: Minimum 19 years as on 1st July 2025. No upper age limit.
Methodology-wise Eligibility
- Mathematics: BA/BSc/B.Tech with Mathematics
- Physical Sciences: BSc with Physics/Chemistry or B.Tech with the same
- Biological Sciences: BSc (Botany/Zoology) or B.Sc (Home Science)
- Social Studies: BA (Social subjects)/B.Com/BBA
- English: BA (English)/MA (English)
- Oriental Languages: BA/MA in Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, etc.
B.Ed Entrance Test Pattern
- Total Marks: 150 | Duration: 2 Hours
- Type: Objective (Multiple Choice Questions)
- Subjects: Mathematics/Science/Social – 60 marks
- Teaching Aptitude – 20 marks
- General English – 20 marks
- GK & Educational Issues – 30 marks
- Computer Awareness – 20 marks
