SSA RECRUITMENTS IN TELANGANA STATE OF MIS AND DATA ENTRY OPERATORS ON CONTRACT BASIS

Telangana State Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan-TSSA,Hyderabad has Issued Rc.No.646/SSA/PLG/T7/2014 to fill up vacancies of the MIS Coordinators,Data Entry Operators and Inclusive Education Resource Teachers on Contract Basis

  1. The attention of all the Project Officers, SSA are invited to the subjectcited and  informed that some of the District Collectors and Pos are requested to permit to fill the available vacancies on contract basis in MIS Co-ordinator, Data Entry Operator at MandaI Resource Centres and Inclusive Education Resource Teachers in Telangana State so that the work in MRCs and IERCenters is carried out well. In this regard they are informed to take action to fill up the vacancies is herewith accorded permission to fill up the vacancies of MIS Coordinator, Data Entry Operator and IER Teachers in Telangana State is herewith accorded permission to fill up with a fresh notification. Further they may be requested to follow the local candidature.
  2. A separate guidelines for MIS, DEO, IERTs and contract forms are issued to follow the procedure to fill up the vacancies in the above mentioned posts in the Telangana State during the year 2014-2015. The entire process may be completed by 10.09.2014 and submit a compliance report to this office. This has got the approval of the Commissioner & Director of School Education and State Project Director, SSA

Guidelines for recruitment

The following guidelines shall be followed scrupulously while engaging the

services of MIS Coordinators and Data Entry Operators.

Constitution of District level Committee:

A District Level Committee shall be constituted under the Chairmanship of the

District Collector. The composition of the committee is as follows:
  1. i) District Collector - Chairman
  2. ii) District Educational Officer - Member
  3. iii) District NIC In charge - Member
  4. iv) Project Officer RVM (SSA) - Member Convener
  5. The abo;ve Committee shall look after (i) Issue of notification in news papers,
  6. (ii) Preparation of roster points and merit lists and (iii) Overseeing the entire
    1. process of selection of candidates.

Unit of appointment:
iii MandaI shall be the unit of appointment in respect of MIS Coordinators and Data
Entry Operators.
" Candidates belonging to a particular mandaI are only eligible to apply for MIS
Coordinator's and Data Entry Operators post in that mandaI.
e In case of non availability of eligible candidates in a unit in a particular reserved
category, candidates from other community in the same unit shall be considE\red.
" If eligible candidates are not available in a particular unit, candidates from
outside unit shall be considered in the same reserved category.

Rule of Reservation:
Rule of reservation shall be followed as per the norms in vogue to all the posts. It
will be prepared by the Project Officer at district level by taking district as a unit.
Age: 
No person shall be eligible for any post unless hel she is above 18 years and
below 39 years of age as on 01.07.2014. However, in case of SCISTIBC candidates the
maximum age limit shall be 44 years and in case of physically challenged candidates
the maximum age limit shall be 49 years.

Qualifications:

  1. MIS Coordinator and Data Entry Operators
  2. (i) B.Sc (Mathsl Statistics) with PGDCA 
    OR
  3. (ii) B.Sc (Mathsl Statistics) with Computer Science as one of the subject 
    OR
  4. (iii) B.Com (Statistics with Computer Science as one of the subjects) 
    OR
  5. (iv) B.Com (Statistics and PGDCA)

Merit list:
 Merit list shall be prepared mandaI-wise for MIS Coordinator and Data Entry
Operators as the mandaI is the unit of appointment.


Honorarium to be paid:

MIS Coordinators      
: Rs.12,000/- per month
Data Entry Operators
: Rs.ll,OOO/- per month

Selection Procedure for MIS Coordinator and Data Entry Operators:
Selection shall be made on the overall merit of the candidate as shown below.
(i) Aggregate marks of graduation course mentioned under qualification (50
marks)
There shall be different skill tests for MIS Coordinator and Data Entry
Operator for 50 marks.
Selection shall be made on the basis


Job chart of MIS Coordinator and Data Entry Operators:
  1. Maintenance of all types of MandaI level statistical data including planning &
  2. DISE

  3. Maintenance of Web portal data
  4. Maintenance of data related to all SSA interventions
  5. Monitoring the status of working condition of computers in schools
  6. Any work assigned by MandaI Education Officer
  7. Analysis of DISE and other data
  8. Generation of various reports as per requirement
